I've heard that people are saying there's a conspiracy thing going on, and that's why Obama didn't say the oath correctly, or something
I really don't know, I only heard it from one person and it was very vague
Was just wondering if you knew anything about it?
I don't believe it for a second, people always come up with things like this, but it'd be interesting to heard what you've got to say on it anyway

  • If people question the official government and media reports of 9/11, are they "conspiracy theorists"?

Question by Teaim: If people question the official government and media reports of 9/11, are they "conspiracy theorists"?
To anyone who has really investigated the 9/11 tragedy, even using mainstream media sources, will find that there are lots of holes and misinformation.
There are a lot of questions that have not been answered by NIST or other agencies involved. Also, there are a lot of common sense inquiries that have been ignored.

Also, many of NIST's conclusions regarding the collapses have been proven by independent engineerss architectss to be physically impossible.

So, when does the word 'conspiracy" start to loose its meaning here? Isn't it patriotic to expect straight answers from our government about the biggest crime in history?

FDR once said: "The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to the point where it becomes stronger than the democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is fascism – ownership of government by an individual, by a group or by any controlling private power".

When 'we the people' fail to question our leadership, don't hold government's feet to the fire, and demand truth from our bureaucrats, we become sub-patriots. Accepting – at face value – whatever our government tells us is not only unpatriotic – it is dangerous!

Since the Fourth Estate has failed miserably in its role as watchdog for the American people, we need to be the watchdogs ourselves. Notice how the mainstream media today simply reports the 'news' verbatim from government press releases, without question, without doubt, without challenge. Not since the days of Watergate has our national media invested in digging at the truth (after all, profits are more important than integrity). Be grateful for those 'conspiracy theorists' because they are the only avenue we have toward keeping our government open and honest.
For those 'dittoheads' who choose to believe whatever the government – and the media – tells them, they can't possibly comprehend what danger they put our country in by their cowardly
    actions.
Courageous citizens will stand up for their right to know the truth as to how our government works (?) in our interests. Once that kind of transparency is voided, we are in serious danger of losing all of our personal and political freedoms. -RKO- 03/29/09

  • Why do people complain about high gas prices, when global warming is upon them?

Posted in Climate on April 6th, 2011 by RoswellUFOs.com

Question by air: Why do people complain about high gas prices, when global warming is upon them?
Conservative mainstream science is showing us that climate change could make life far more difficult than paying a little more for fuel ever would.

Why don't people think about and comprehend the consequences of their carbon emissions, eg. prolonged droughts, regular flooding, the threat of the severe demise of the human civilization as we know it, rather than complain about why they can't pollute and emit carbon more cheaply than they already can?

On top of all this, they revile and question the sanity of those who call them on this and tell them they're "paranoid", "irrational" or talking about things along the lines of "conspiracies", etc.

  • Why do people use "conspiracy" to attack alternative 9-11 theories if the gov't story is a conspiracy theory?

Question by adviser guy: Why do people use "conspiracy" to attack alternative 9-11 theories if the gov't story is a conspiracy theory?
I've listened to both sides of this debate and the official 9-11 theory involves a conspiracy that required a guy in a cave to coordinate a plan with multiple other people taking place thousands of miles away in secret. That is the definition of a conspiracy theory too. The FBI still doesn't even say Bin Laden did it on their website. So aren't these two sides (there's really more than two theories but this makes it easier) just debating the likelihood of either conspiracy theory?

    Answer by jeb black
Yeah, the govt. has yet to prove it's theory on 9/11, so i'm going to form my own opinion on the subject. call me a kook all you want, you can't prove 9/11 was done by osama and his 19 girlfriends.

  • Why do people take paranoid conspiracy nutjobs like birthers and climate change denialists seriously?

    Tags: , , , , , , , , , ,
Posted in Climate on October 5th, 2010 by RoswellUFOs.com

They make it seem like denying birth certificates and scientific facts are just hip trendy beliefs on the right-wing, and that somehow these positions are valid and "just the other side" of the "argument."

  • Do these 9/11 conspiracy people have concrete proof it was an inside job?

    Tags: , , , , , ,
    Posted in 9/11 on April 11th, 2010 by RoswellUFOs.com

I have noticed the 9/11 conspiracy crowd, the 'truthers' as they are called, have quite a bit of speculation, but i have yet to see any concrete proof of an inside job- When challenged by this in person, truthers often get profane and resort to threats of violence…
Is there any **PROOF** that 9/11 was an inside job? So far, it hasn't been produced- and there is a difference between proof and speculation.
