Your answer? Because we did not have the engineering and technological ability in July 1969.
OK fine, let's say that. So now I ask this.
If we didn't have the ability in July 1969 for a manned moon landing, would we have obtained it just barley 9 months later in April 1970?
My answer? No.
So then it comes to this. If Apollo 11 (and 12 for that matter) was fake, then we have to assume that Apollo 13 was fake also.
Why would you "fake" a near catastrophe with Apollo 13? Wouldn't you want a "fake" mission to be a resounding success?
Apollo 13 caused the moon program to be ended prematurely, and set the whole manned space program back for nearly a decade.
Do you see where the "fake" theory becomes seriously flawed?
