16-inch Display = True 16:9 Aspect Ratio

Movie buffs and videophiles are urged to check out a concept XPS laptop with a 16-inch 16:9 aspect display with full HD 1080p resolution. While most laptop available today feature a widescreen display, the true entertainment enthusiast knows that typical 14.1-, 15.4- and 17-inch notebook displays feature a 16:10 ratio versus the 16:9 aspect ratio used in most HDTVs. The most accurate representation of video content for select Blu-ray movies and digital TV is seen with a 16:9 display. When the source video is 16:9, the movie images will fill the entire 16-inch display with no letterboxing.

XPS 630i : Middleweight Contender With Heavyweight Power

Starting tomorrow, CES attendees can get a first look at Dell's XPS entry-level gaming desktop, expected to be formally announced this spring with pricing and configuration details. While the XPS 630i is more compact than the powerhouse XPS 720 family, it won't compromise on performance. The XPS 630i can be seen in a variety of locations around CES, including Sony and Creative Labs as well as the Dell Lounge. Digital Home Demo – HD Entertainment When and Where You Want It

Dell's digital home demo showcases convergence of the TV and PC. The solution features an XPS 420 desktop configured with Windows Vista(R) Ultimate and the ATI TV Wonder(TM) Digital Cable Tuner, enabling users to watch, pause, replay and record premium HD content from digital cable channels on a stunning 30-inch flat panel display. The XPS 420 is paired with a Linksys Media Center Extender (DMA2100), which transfers live or recorded HD video content, digital photos and music across a wired or 802.11n wireless network to any TV in the home. International UFO Congress Now World's Largest UFO Convention

The International UFO Congress, a leading organization for the research and documentation of UFO and related information, today announced the extension of their 17th Annual UFO Conference and Film Festival to eight days and nine nights, making it the largest UFO convention in the world. The annual convention featuring 40 speakers and 35 exhibitors from around the globe will be held at the new Aquarius Resort and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada from February 23 through March 1, 2008.

The new marquee event of the UFO convention will be a live interview segment called "Conversations with Rob Simone." Simone, an acclaimed radio talk show host and ufologist, will be talking with noted Area 51 microbiologist Dr. Dan Burisch in front of an audience in a late-night talk show setting. The event will be the first of its kind in this new format that encourages audience participation; something the UFO Congress plans to make a mainstay of the convention for years to come.

Another new event at this year's convention will be a keynote presentation and banquet with renowned UFO researchers Philip Mantle and Spyros Melaris of the UK. The experts will be discussing the authenticity of the infamous Alien Autopsy Film as well as other current worldwide UFO phenomena.

"We're very excited about all the new events and the opportunities they create for people of all interests to come together," said Conference Organizer Nicole Irvine. "Along with the various conference packages, we're expecting record attendance numbers and, as always, to have fun educating people about the latest UFO research from around the world."

In addition to the six-day, seven-night "Traditional Package," the UFO Congress is offering a two-day, two-night "Weekend Package" and an eight-day, nine-night "Full Package," giving visitors several options to accommodate their needs. Individual passes and a la carte ticketing is also available for people seeking to attend specific events only.

Convention mainstays such as the Speaker Cocktail Party and the EBE Awards Banquet will also be a part of the extended conference, with two extra nights of viewing being added to the Film Festival.
